We are hiring an accomplished Technical Lead (Tech Lead) with 5–7 years of engineering experience to guide technical execution across our software development and enterprise platform engagements. This role combines hands-on system architecture with engineering team leadership.
About the Role
At Akshora AI Labs, we deliver production systems in focused 7-to-14-day sprints as well as long-term enterprise platform builds. As Technical Lead, you will partner directly with our AI CTO and Founders to translate client business requirements into deterministic, scalable software architectures, oversee sprint execution, review critical pull requests, and mentor our software engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering team and manage technical execution.
- Define software architecture and technology decisions.
- Establish coding standards and development best practices.
- Review pull requests and ensure code quality.
- Mentor software engineers and junior developers.
- Coordinate with management and product stakeholders.
- Plan sprints, estimate development efforts, and manage technical delivery.
- Identify technical risks and provide scalable solutions.
Technical & Leadership Requirements
- Deep mastery of TypeScript, Next.js App Router, Node.js microservices, and relational database architecture.
- Ability to make pragmatic architectural trade-offs balancing delivery velocity, security, and long-term maintainability.
- Hands-on leadership style: capable of unblocking engineers in code while maintaining architectural oversight.
Team Management Expectations
- Lead a squad of 4–8 associate, mid-level, and senior software engineers across concurrent product and client sprints.
- Conduct structured code reviews, weekly architecture syncs, and 1-on-1 technical growth mentoring.
- Foster a culture of clean documentation, automated testing, and ownership from development to production handoff.
Performance Expectations
- Ensure 100% on-time sprint delivery with zero critical regressions in production deployments.
- Maintain sub-second API and page load performance benchmarks across all shipped web platforms.
- Continuously elevate engineering velocity and code reusability across internal component and service libraries.
Educational Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science or equivalent proven track record leading production engineering teams.
Experience Requirements
Required Experience: 5–7 Years
- 5–7 Years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a Senior Engineer, Architect, or Tech Lead capacity.
- Proven history of architecting and delivering complex web platforms, microservices, and cloud-native applications on schedule.
