Job Overview
Akshora AI Labs is hiring a technical Project Manager (4–6 Years) to orchestrate delivery across our rapid 7-to-14-day AI engineering sprints and custom enterprise software projects in Sector 62, Noida.
About the Role
As Project Manager at Akshora AI Labs, you will serve as the operational backbone connecting our clients, founders, technical leads, and engineering squads. Unlike traditional IT project management heavy on paperwork, this role focuses on high-cadence agile execution: scoping clear technical deliverables, managing sprint backlogs, tracking daily deployment milestones, mitigating integration risks early, and ensuring smooth repository and runbook handoffs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end project lifecycle management from initial discovery and scoping through production deployment and client handoff.
- Translate client business requirements into structured sprint backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and milestone reviews across software, AI/ML, computer vision, and UI/UX teams.
- Monitor project scope, resource utilization, dependencies, and critical-path risks to prevent delivery delays.
- Maintain transparent, proactive communication with enterprise client stakeholders regarding sprint progress and live staging demos.
- Oversee UAT (User Acceptance Testing), quality assurance sign-offs, deployment checklists, and documentation delivery.
- Continuously refine internal delivery workflows, estimation accuracy, and cross-team collaboration processes.
Technical & Leadership Requirements
- Strong technical literacy across web applications, APIs, databases, and AI/ML project lifecycles to communicate effectively with engineers.
- Mastery of agile sprint planning, backlog prioritization, scope control, and milestone tracking tools.
- Decisive problem-solving ability to unblock cross-team dependencies and third-party integration bottlenecks.
Team Management Expectations
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery pods of 5–12 engineers, designers, and QA specialists across multiple client engagements.
- Facilitate focused, high-signal stand-ups and sprint retrospectives without bogging engineers down in unnecessary meetings.
- Align technical leads, product designers, and client teams around shared acceptance criteria.
Performance Expectations
- Achieve on-time milestone completion across rapid 7–14 day sprints and enterprise software rollouts.
- Eliminate scope creep through clear upfront specification documents and structured change-request workflows.
- Maintain high client satisfaction and clear visibility into project status at every stage of delivery.
Educational Qualifications
- B.Tech / BCA / MCA / MBA or equivalent degree with demonstrated experience managing technical software and AI projects.
Experience Requirements
Required Experience: 4–6 Years
- 4–6 Years of project management experience in a software development studio, IT consulting firm, or SaaS product company.
- Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent technical projects and delivering on schedule and within scope.
