Job Overview
Akshora AI Labs is hiring an Associate Computer Vision Engineer (0–1 Year) to join our Edge Computer Vision & Deep Learning practice in Noida. You will work directly with real camera feeds and our in-house NVIDIA Jetson hardware test rigs to build industrial visual inspection and safety monitoring systems.
About the Role
As an Associate Computer Vision Engineer, you will support senior vision engineers in curating and augmenting industrial image/video datasets, training YOLO object detection and classification models, writing OpenCV preprocessing routines, and benchmarking model precision across challenging lighting and camera angles.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with image and video processing projects.
- Prepare and annotate image datasets.
- Support object detection and image classification tasks.
- Test and evaluate computer vision models.
- Write Python and OpenCV scripts for frame extraction, geometric transforms, and video stream handling.
- Document precision, recall, mAP metrics, and edge-case failure modes during lab testing.
Educational Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. / M.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, Electronics, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience Requirements
Required Experience: 0–1 Year
- 0–1 Year of practical experience in computer vision or image processing (including strong academic projects, research work, or internships).
- Hands-on ability to write Python scripts using OpenCV and PyTorch for image classification or object detection.
